لقد كانت تحديات التعليم العالي في القرن الحادي والعشرين عميقة الطبيعة والقيم، مقابل. التوقعات المجتمعية والموارد العامة للتعليم العالي التي تشهد التحولات الجوهرية. وتغييرات داخل وخارج المؤسسة الأكاديمية وكلاهما يغير طابعها, أعضاء هيئة التدريس، والإدارة، وطلابها , والمناهج الدراسية، ووظائف، المجتمع. فقبل 20 عاما، وأزمة التغيير في التعليم العالي "كانت القاعدة وليس الاستثناء." ومع ذلك، التغيرات الحالية في تحويل التعليم العالي إلى حد ما ربما أكبر.

وهدفت الورقة الى عرض للتغير وادارته وبعض نماذجه وماهي التحديات التي تواجه عملية التغيير في الجامعات وختمت الورقة ببعض الاستنتاجات كان من بينها تتفق اغلب الدراسات والبحوث على ضرورة ان تتميز أية جامعة بتغير خاص بها، وصياغة مخطط لمؤشرات ادائها بما ينسجم مع طبيعة ونشاط وبيئة الجامعة، و يحقق لها التميز والانجاز العالي.

Abstract

The twenty-first century has brought with it profound challenges to the nature, values, and control of higher education. Societal expectations and public resources for higher education are undergoing fundamental shifts. Changes both within and outside the academy are altering its character – its students, faculty, governance, curriculum, functions, and very place in society. Before noted nearly 20 years ago, crisis and change in higher education “have been the rule, not the exception.” Nevertheless, current changes are transforming higher education to an extent perhaps greater.

The aim of the paper to show the change and his administration and some of its models and what are the challenges facing the process of change in universities and concluded the paper with some conclusions Among them was consistent most of the studies and research on the need to be characterized by any university change its own, formulate a scheme to performance indicators in line with the nature of the activity and the university environment, and achieves its excellence and high achievement.
