The effectiveness of the F-A-R model in acquiring physical concepts and developing mental skills among middle-third graders

Abstract

The current study aimed to find out the effectiveness of the (F-A-R) model in acquiring physical concepts and developing mental skills in middle third graders, by verifying the hypothesis of the study, which states: There is no statistically d difference at the level (0.05) of the average grades of students of the experimental group studied according to the model (F-A-R) and the average grades of students of the control group studied in the usual way in acquiring physical concepts and mental skills,  The study randomly identified the third middle student of the Iraqi High School of Diwaniyah education provincial center for the academic year 2021-2022 for the second semester book physics III, and selected two divisions in a total of (61) students divided into (30) for the experimental group (model) and (31) for the officer (normal), the two groups (experimental and officer) were equal to variables (time age by months, intelligence and previous information), The researcher also prepared for each group a plan of its own, with the preparation of the concept acquisition test, consisting of (35) multiple selections and a test of mental skills consisting of (20) multiple selection paragraphs distributed over (five skills), after verifying their sincerity and stability and the strength of the distinction of paragraphs for both, and the researcher applied his own experience in the second quarter of the school year (2021-2022), and after the completion of the experiment, the study data was attached to the statistical bag, The results showed a clear superiority of the students of the experimental group that studied the model (F-A-R) over the students of the control group that studied in the usual way in acquiring physical concepts and developing mental skills, so i rejected the zero hypothesis, the study cames up with a sets (recommenedations and propposals).
