The fatwa of the jihadi struggle and its impact on combating terrorism and its reflection in supporting the foundations of the civil stat

The study aims to identify the role of the supreme jihad fatwa of the supreme religious reference in empowering the Iraqi security forces and their impact in combating terrorism, which effectively grew in 2014, through an analytical and critical study. The main problem of the study focuses on "Is the decrease in the level of local terrorism a result of the impact of the fatwa jihad for religious authority?"
The importance of the study comes through shedding light on two important variables for those interested in this regard, namely (Fatwa of Kafi jihad and terrorism). As studying these variables is an urgent necessity in strengthening the strength and feet of the Iraqi security services in all its joints. To achieve the goal of the study, the researchers relied on conducting a critical and objective analysis of the above variables, trying to reach a relationship of influence or not to the study variables, taking into account the views of the stakeholders from the military leaders through some personal interviews as well as the relevant religious authorities.
The study came out with several conclusions, the most important of which was to explain the positive role of the fatwa on the jihad of the religious authority and its reflection in supporting the security services, which were directly reflected in the fight against terrorism and laying the foundations of the civil state in the service of the public interest. Researchers believe that the variables of the study and its sub-dimensions, despite its findings, need more research efforts to reduce and bridge the knowledge gap related to terrorism and domestic and international extremism alike.
