The legislative role of the executive authority in deterring cyber threats- a comparative study

Information technology is one of the important developments that all countries of the world coexist with now, but the resulting current or future dangers, such as multiple cyber threats, are considered a threat to the information security of the state and the confidentiality of its data, and among these threats are the act of electronic espionage and cyber attacks, and the responsibility of the executive authority appears. As the authority to which the Constitution of the Republic of Iraq in 2005 granted several powers, and these legislative powers empower it to deter threats and fortify its cyber security, by proposing cyber bills and proposing to amend the constitution and its texts, to face these dangers.
