The role of ethical leadership in promoting strategic sustainability An exploratory study at the University of Kufa

The research aims to identify the role of ethical leadership in promoting strategic sustainability. The research focused on a sample of the teaching staff of the University of Kufa, and the research problem was formulated as follows: “The emergence and promotion of strategic sustainability is directly affected by the level of ethical leadership in the institution under study,” and for the purpose of completing the research requirements In order to represent the targeted research population, the random sampling method was adopted, as (270) questionnaire forms were distributed directly to a sample of the teaching staff of the University of Kufa, and (240) valid questionnaires were retrieved for statistical analysis with a response rate of (89%), and the data was analyzed. Which were collected using a set of statistical tests available in the statistical programs SPSS V.26 and Smart PLS v.3.3.2.
The researcher concluded that there is a knowledge gap to clarify the nature of the relationship between research variables in institutions in general and the University of Kufa in particular.
