The research deals with the administrative system during the period of Imam Ali's rule, by going back to ancient historical documents, and studying his sermons, directives, and biography in historical sources. It was divided into three main topics. The first topic presented the situation that the Islamic state had reached and led to the revolution against the previous caliph. The second topic referred to the immediate administrative and financial reforms carried out by the imam. The third topic dealt with the administrative structure of the state at the time of the imam's rule.
