It was one of the most important effects and reflections that resulted from the American entry into Iraq in 2003, which was political system and the transition of the nature of governance in it from a totalitarian, dictatorial system of government, to a federal, pluralistic parliamentary system of government in which power is traded on a peaceful basis, and which takes Its legitimacy is from the power of the people through free and fair elections, and one of the gains of this new democratic transformation was the work to activate the mechanisms and foundations of civil society after 2003 through the support of the institutions, organizations, forces and approaches working on this level.
