In this research, we shed light on the religious and heritage contents in
the book “A’lam Malaga”, which is considered one of the most important books; as it presents the biography of the writers in Malaga in Andalusia, and it is a literary source with its historical status, and it contains the biographies of 174 writers from the notables of Malaga. This book is unique in its biographies and biographies of those who do not exist in other books, as well as additional information for biographies mentioned in other books. It contains the biographies of the caliphs, writers, jurists, poets and others from the people of Malaga and those who came to it. It also contains prose texts, poems, fragments and excerpts that are not found in other sources. In the first section, we discussed the examples that were distinguished by religious content, and they are very many; Given the interest of the Malaga scholars in the religious aspect, in the second section we proved the role of the Malaga scholars in their interest in immortalizing heritage, by including in their poetry verses from poets of different eras who preceded them, and by preserving the authentic heritage contents known to them, which revive heritage in its various types.
