The international dimensions of the US withdrawal from Afghanistan

Despite the actual participation of European countries in NATO, which is the main part of it, as well as the amount of human and material losses incurred by the European forces in NATO, the decision to withdraw came from a purely American will. The American withdrawal from Afghanistan had international and regional dimensions, as well as reasons that were reflected in the Afghan interior, as the American withdrawal allowed many countries to interfere in the Afghan affairs to gain interests, as Qatar sought to invest in Kabul airport, as well as Turkey sought to find a foothold in Afghanistan in its search for energy and benefit from The huge economic wealth owned by the region, which is represented in oil, natural gas, coal, and others. Also, some Arab Gulf states welcomed this withdrawal, and some considered it a connection calculated for the Muslim civilization on the Western cross as part of a clash of civilizations, and the American withdrawal raised concerns among the European Union countries about increasing The volume of refugees and other dimensions of the US withdrawal from Afghanistan.
