External factors affecting Iraqi foreign policy after 2003

The important location of Iraq enabled it to play an important role in international regional issues, old and new, and made it the focus of attention of all countries. of capabilities at a time when the region is witnessing a frantic race by various powers (the United States of America, Russia, China, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Gulf Cooperation Council system ... etc.) to establish a foothold in it. These forces differ in the nature of the goals and objectives they seek, and this may lead to Making Iraq an arena for settling accounts unless the decision maker takes the initiative to realize the rules of competition (international and regional) and push towards establishing Iraq's real interests in front of these forces.
