Abstract

The study dealt with the four electoral districts in the province of Babel, where it was concerned with the spatial distribution of electoral centers in the province of Babylon in the 2021 elections. The study revealed the discrepancy in the spatial distribution ratios of the polling centers and registration centers, which numbered (413) polling centers and (37) registration centers, respectively in Babel Governorate, where the percentage of the first district was 25.18% of polling centers and 27.01% of registration centers, and the percentage of the second district was 17.67 % of the polling centers and 18.91% of the registration centers, the third district accounted for 23% of the polling centers and 21.62% of the registration centers, and the fourth district represented 34.14% of the polling centers and 32.43% of the registration centers.
