The title of this research (Reference and its impact on the interpretation of the text, a reading of the poetry of Hazem Al-Tamimi) is located in the judiciary of the text, as it occupies some of its elements that text scholars have agreed to limit to: lexical consistency, reference, connection, deletion, and substitution. Since the research assumes that each of these elements has an impact on the interpretation of meaning and directing the intention in it, and not just stylistic mechanisms that contribute to the formal formulation of the text only, the choice fell on the element of reference to reveal its impact on the interpretation of the text. For this matter, we have chosen the poetry of Hazem Rashk Al-Tamimi as a field for the procedure and analysis.
