Social and demographic factors have an important impact on working women, as these factors vary the economic and family characteristics of working women and the extent of their importance at work, as working women are an important link in the labor market in various societies, and they have a major role in economic and social development. Over time, women have seen improvements in employment opportunities and participation in the labor market, including in the air transport sector. As is the case at Baghdad International Airport, which is a main point for many flights and travelers in the region. Women working at Baghdad International Airport are affected by a range of social and demographic factors that can affect their professional and personal lives. The most important of these factors are:Employment and career opportunities, as women are affected by the availability of job opportunities at Baghdad International Airport and the applicable employment policies. Employment of women may be exposed to challenges if there is discrimination or preference for males in some jobs and social traditions and values, which in society usually affect women’s involvement in the labor market. Women may be exposed to social pressures that limit their ability to work outside the home or work in an environment that is considered non-traditional to the role of women. In addition, working women face challenges in achieving a balance between the requirements of their work and their personal responsibilities, such as family life and motherhood.
