Interpreters view the Qur’an as an integrated text, each part of which complements the other, starting with the letters of the word and its phonetic formation, ending with the formation of the sentence and the consistency of its words to build the text. The mother meaning, and this is the case in reaching the more general meaning of the sentence, which is the meaning of the text.
The Holy Qur’an is not viewed as independent verses, nor scattered sentences here and there. Rather, it supports one another. The Holy Qur’an interprets one another, and this is the best evidence of the interdependence and coherence of the text in the Holy Qur’an to the extent that some commentators believe that a verse can only be interpreted by another context, or what is termed as (interpretation of the Qur’an by the Qur’an).
