The importance of the study lies in the fact that the ideas of the philosopher John Locke represented the cornerstone of modern philosophy, political theory, and early liberalism, as his proposals, especially political ones, contributed to the development of modern and contemporary political thought, and influenced many thinkers who contemporaneously with him, or those who came after him, whether In his criticism of the absolute rule and the divine paternalism of kings, or in his interpretation of the state of nature and the formation of power according to the social contract, and then the separation of powers later, within a constitutional civil government that combines custom and law at the same time. This was discussed by the English philosopher and thinker John Locke in his most famous book " Two Treatises of Government " in the eighties of the seventeenth century and in the context of the struggle of the radical Whig party with the conservative party and supporters of the Stewart family.
