The study of the natural characteristics represented by (the location of the study area, geological structure, surface, climate, soil and water resources) are important and influencing factors in the study area. Natural factors are considered an important factor in international politics and in the strength of the state as it is a permanent and constant element. Geography is the place on which states interact during history, positively or negatively. Because of this, geography plays a vital role, especially in defining the vision of political planners in all countries, and it has an impact on government decision-making in foreign policy affairs. In the same sense, geographers interested in global politics provide a vision of the global scene using geographical descriptions and metaphors within the science of strategic geography, which looks at political, economic and military planning that is concerned with the natural environment through its use by analyzing or understanding economic and political problems of an international nature, that the state’s dependence on factors Natural factors in political geography have an impact on the political value of the state and give it certain advantages that can contribute to the strength or weakness of the state and direct its policy. Therefore, natural factors are considered the base on which the state relies.
