The impact of climate on the breeding and productivity of ruminants

Animal production is an important pillar of the national economy of many countries in the world, due to its great importance in providing food for millions of people from meat, milk and its derivatives, in addition to providing other raw materials for important industries (such as wool, leather and fertilizer).
The research aims to study the impact of climatic elements (solar radiation, temperature, wind, humidity and precipitation) and their effects on the breeding and productivity of ruminant animals. The research concluded that the effects of climate elements on the breeding and productivity of ruminant animals are divided into direct effects related to the animal itself and indirect effects affecting grazing and fodder crops that the animal depends on for its food. The research also concluded that temperature is the most important element in the breeding and productivity of ruminant animals, due to its direct impact on the animal's life and its control over other climatic elements.
