Presentation of the character of the Father in the Iraqi novel from 2000-2010

The importance of this research is due to clarifying the aesthetics of stylistic expression that the novelist resorts to for the purpose of portraying the novel’s characters in influential ways when he presents them to the reader, directly in the manner of a knowledgeable narrator. There is another way, which is the way of showing by letting the main character introduce himself.
The problem of the research lies in two questions, the first of which is: Did the Iraqi novel achieve a noticeable development when the Iraqi writer was liberated from the restrictions of the dictatorship imposed by the previous regime on freedom of expression?
The nature of the research required that it be divided into two sections. The first was devoted to studying the informative presentation of the father’s character, and the second was devoted to studying the
demonstrative presentation of the father’s character in the Iraqi novel.
