In this research we study the hydrochemistry of the Tigris River during the two years 2009_2010 was chosen as the months of April and October of each year, and determine the physical properties which include: hydrogen number (pH), total dissolved solid (TDS), electrical conductivity (EC), and determine the chemical properties which include Cations and Anions Analysis, Cations include: (Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+ and K+) Anions: (SO4", Cl-, HCO3‾ ).
The results of chemical analysis for Tigris river water showed there are no exceed on the acceptable limit from Compared with (WHO, 2007) and (IQS, 2009) , so the Tigris water is considered suitable for human drinking, Animal drinking, building purpose, and irrigation.
According to hydrochemical formula (Kurlov formula) the water of Tigris River from kind:
The water of the Tigris River during the first year 2009 forthe month of April was (Ca-Sulfate), and for the month of October of the same year, 2009, was (Mg-Sulfate).The water of the Tigris River during the second year 2010 for the month of April was (Ca-Sulfate) and for the month of October of the same year, 2010, was also (Ca-Sulfate).Downloads
