Abstract

The subject of knowledge in Sufism is one of the important topics emphasized by Sufis and philosophers, and we reach this goal in the study of knowledge in Sufism by defining the different points of view of the different Sufi currents and schools, in order to reach this goal, which is the identification of knowledge in Sufi and philosophical thinkers, it must We are able to preserve Sufi thought and its relationship to philosophical thought. Meditation and Sufi imagination in the reality of the Islamic environment was an important factor in the study of Sufi thought regarding knowledge in its various types (mental, sensual, intuitive, tasteful, emotional, scouting, etc.). The knowledge brought by Sufi thought is one of the most important factors that appeared in Islamic thought. Hence, Sufi thought was able to spread the knowledge culture in the Islamic world. This happened, as we mentioned, through the nature of the relationship and friction between Sufi thought and philosophical thought. Knowledge and its development according to intellectual, philosophical, social and other factors in the Islamic society. Moreover, the knowledge of Sufism had great credit for the critical development of ideas among Islamic sects with regard to the subject of Islamic theology.
