المستخلص
تستكشف هذه الدراسة تصوير الأيديولوجيات السياسية في ألعاب الفيديو الشهيرة " نداء الواجب: الحرب الحديثة 2" و " ساحة المعركة 3". نظرًا لأن الألعاب غالبًا ما تحتوي على إشارات ومعاني وموضوعات من العالم الحقيقي ، فإن لديها القدرة على نقل رسائل أيديولوجية وسياسية للاعبين وتشكيل وجهات نظرهم تجاه القضايا سياسية. باستخدام منهجية البحث النوعي ، تفحص الدراسة اللغة ، مع العناصر المرئية والسمعية ، الموجودة في المشاهد السينمائية واثناء اللعب في هذه الألعاب. يطبق التحليل نموذج فان دايك الاجتماعي-المعرفي لسنة (2000) و (2006) لفهم الرسائل الأيديولوجية المضمنة في الألعاب. تشير النتائج إلى أن مطوري الألعاب يديمون أيديولوجية الهيمنة للقوة العسكرية الأمريكية. كما يصور المطورون العرب على أنهم المصدر الرئيسي للإرهاب ويعززون الصور النمطية السلبية حول إيران وروسيا.
