Author Guidelines

The Journal of the College of Education for Girls for Humanities seeks to attract the largest possible number of authors seeking to publish their research on its website and electronic platform. Accordingly, the presidency and members of the editorial board of the journal direct all their efforts to overcome the obstacles facing researchers from Iraq and Arab and foreign countries, so the following steps were adopted:

  • The researcher sends his research electronically through the journal’s platform and indicates on the first page his full name, scientific title, email, and place of work, in both Arabic and English.
  • The font type is (Simplified Arabic) for the text, and the text font size is (14), the margin font size is (12) (Times New Roman), and the line spacing ratio is (1.5).
  • The researcher attaches with his research a summary in Arabic and English, regardless of the language of the research. The abstract includes: the objectives of the research, its methods, and its most important results, provided that this summary does not exceed ten lines.
  • The search includes keywords in Arabic and English, no less than five words related to the research topic.
  • The method of documenting sources and references is according to the Chicago system, and the footnotes of the research and its sources are placed at the end of the research.

As for the steps for submitting research via the electronic journal platform, the researcher follows the following steps:

  • The research to be published on the journal’s pages is submitted by registering on the journal’s platform and website.
  • After completing the registration process, click on Create a Publication Request, fill out all the required fields, and attach an electronic copy of the research.
  • The research is received by the editor-in-chief, an editor from a member of the editorial board is assigned, and an electronic notification is sent to the researcher of the receipt of his research.
  • The researcher pays the research publishing fees.
  • Send the research to two reviewers with expertise in the research topic.
  • The researcher is informed electronically that the research has been sent to the reviewers.
  • After completing the review by the scientific reviewers, the comments are sent to the researcher via his e-mail.
  • The researcher must adhere literally to the referees’ comments and correct his research accordingly
  • After the corrections are made by the researcher, the research is sent again via the journal’s platform to the editor-in-chief, and the corrected research copy is presented to the reviewers again to show the extent of the researcher’s commitment to their observations and take their opinion. A publication acceptance is sent to the researcher via his e-mail, and the issue of determining the number in which the research will be published remains private to the editor-in-chief, and the sequence and precedence of submitting research is taken into account.
