Abstract:
Financial policy has an important and effective role in organizing economic activity and other activities through the use of means and tools to reach the goals set. We believe that the fiscal policy in most of the Arab countries, especially in Iraq, has been characterized by the lack of supervision and non-compliance with the implementation of the correct and targeted financial policy due to financial and administrative corruption on the basis of the lack of legal and regulatory regulation on the other hand. The indicators of financial policy were estimated to determine their effect on GDP at current prices and using several statistical tests. These tests show that the variable of public revenues is the most important variable in the impact on GDP, as will be shown in this study. The study concluded with conclusions and recommendations that identify the flaws and develop the necessary solutions.
