Cultural Modes in the Novels (Jacob’s Disappointment) and (Nafilat Al-Kharab) by Saadoon Al-Baydhani

Abstract

The study hypothesis is based on the fact that fiction yields several discourses in light of critical approaches. Cultural criticism could the reveal the intrinsic harmony in a world in which cultures and visions overlap to revolutionize those cultures and overturn balances. These culturtes will turn into an active formation that expresses one way or other readers’ life and how they think. Therefore, the study employs the cultural modes and the cultural representations that unveil the modes an Iraqi novelist experience through two novels: (Jacob’s Disappointment) and (Nafilat Al-Kharab). The novels represent a conception of human and social existence, and the structure of his linguistic construction of his artistic language.

To cover the study topic and its theoretical and procedural sides, the researcher has set up a plan, which includes an abstract in Arabic and English, an introduction, three sections, a conclusion, and sources and references.

The study is divided into the following section:

The second section: Political mode, Power and despotism.

The third section: Economic Mode.
