Abstract

The aim of this research is to know The Effectiveness of the John Zahorik Model in Higher Thinking Skills among Grade the fourth Scientific Students in Biology. To achieve this, a two-month experiment was conducted. The researchers chose the Al-Najah Preparatory School for boys by random selection by lottery. And the students of the fifth scientific (71) students in the simple randomization method were divided into two groups (36) students for the control group, (35) students for the experimental group, the two groups were equated in the variables of (Grade of the first course of biology , age, intelligence, Higher Thinking Skills test). The two researchers used the experimental design with a partial control for two equivalent groups (experimental and control). The experiment has performed at the second course of the academic year (2017-2018) . After finishing applying the experiment, the results were statistically analyzed using the T-test for two independent samples. The results concluded that there was a statistically significant difference in favor of the experimental group in the Higher Thinking Skills test.
