Abstract

Social interpretation is of paramount importance in providing solutions to many negative social problems and phenomena, even though it is a relatively new approach. It is one of the modern methods of interpreting the Holy Quran, focusing on societal issues in general and social problems in particular, with the aim of offering solutions. Given this importance, this research addresses one of the most prominent social problems on the global stage: the problem of deviant relationships between men and women. This issue undermines the most important pillar of society: the family. The research examines the element of shared life relationships, specifically the illicit relationships between men and women. The title of this research encompasses several points:

The first point: The research addresses the critique of contemporary Quranic commentators on illicit relationships between men and women. The aim of this research is to critique Western realities and their impact on Arab and Islamic countries. The second point: The research examines the causes of this deviant relationship, as understanding these causes is crucial for comprehending the consequences. The third point: The research addresses the solutions proposed by Quranic commentators for this deviant relationship within the framework of Islamic law.
