Author's guide

The Journal of Jurisprudence Faculty is concerned with publishing research and studies in the humanitarian disciplines, especially Islamic research and studies in jurisprudence, principles, the sciences of the Qur’an and the Noble Hadith, the Arabic language, comparative religions, philosophy, theology and thought...etc. Hence, the magazine welcomes all authors and researchers who wish to publish their research on its website, or issue paper print. Therefore, the magazine’s management seeks to intensify its efforts to overcome the obstacles facing researchers from inside or outside Iraq, whether from Arab or foreign countries, and encourages the researcher to take into account the following points. What the author or researcher should do before submitting his research for evaluation and publication:

The research submitted to the journal must not have been previously submitted for publication, accepted for publication, published in any other scientific journal, or published in the proceedings of scientific conferences.
Research submitted to the journal is subject to plagiarism programs, to ensure its originality, and it is not permitted to publish quoted or stolen research, based on the principle of scientific honesty in research or writing.
He must submit a request for publication via the journal’s platform electronically, and upload his research in file format (.doc) or (Word), in which the title of the research, the full name of the researcher/researchers, his/her scientific title, email, in both Arabic and English, and the administrative affiliation are recorded on the first page. (His place of work), phone number, and email.
The title page is followed by a summary of the research in Arabic and English, within one page, provided that the summary includes: the purpose of the research, its methods, and its most important results, and this summary should not exceed 250 words.
The font type (Times New Roman) should be used for the body and margin, and the font size of the body should be (14), the font size of the margin should be (12), and the line spacing should be (1.5). No commas should be placed between punctuation marks and the words preceding it.
The number of research pages should not exceed 20 pages. If it exceeds this limit, the researcher will be charged an additional fee of three thousand Iraqi dinars for each paper.
The search includes keywords in Arabic and English, no less than five words related to the research topic.
The citation format for footnotes is automatically generated by Microsoft Word, following the APA (American Psychological Association) style.  The citation information is placed at the end of the quoted text within parentheses, in this format: (Author's Last Name, Publication Year, page/chapter) – directly in the text, not as a footnote.
The research must include a final list of approved sources and references - added after the list of footnotes - in the same manner as the APA system.
Translating the important sources on which the research was based into English.
In the event that there are foreign sources and references, the list of sources and references is added separately from the list of Arabic references and sources, and the alphabetical order of the names of books or research in journals is taken into account when preparing them.
Tables, pictures, and paintings are printed on separate sheets of paper, and their source or sources are indicated at the bottom of the figure, specifying their locations in the text.
Attach a copy of the scientific biography if the researcher is publishing in the journal for the first time, and indicate whether the research has been submitted to a scientific conference or symposium. It is also necessary to indicate the name of the scientific or non-scientific body that funded the research or assisted in its preparation. .
The magazine's editorial team has the right to determine the date of publication according to the first-come-first-served system.
The research will not be returned to the researcher if two scientific experts decide that it is not suitable for publication.

How to submit research via the electronic journal platform:

The researcher must register on the magazine’s platform and website.
After completing the registration process, click on “Create a publication request” and fill out all the required fields and attach an electronic copy of the research.
The research will be received by the editor-in-chief, an editor from among the editorial board members will be assigned, and an electronic notification will be sent to the researcher informing him of the receipt of his research.
The researcher from inside Iraq pays the research publishing fees directly at the college building.
The journal sends the research to two referees with expertise in the research topic.
The researcher is informed electronically that the research has been sent to the arbitrators.
After completing the arbitration process, the comments are sent to the researcher via his email.
The researcher must adhere literally to the referees’ comments and correct his research accordingly.
After the corrections are made by the researcher, the research is re-sent again via the magazine’s platform to the editor-in-chief and the corrected research copy is presented to the arbitrators again to show the extent of the researcher’s commitment to their observations and take their opinion.
In the final step, a publication acceptance is sent to the researcher via his e-mail, and the issue of determining the issue in which the research will be published remains a matter for the editor-in-chief, taking into account the sequence and precedence of submitting research.
