Abstract

significance. The function of the image shift is not only to clarify the meaning; rather it is to add beauty and solemnity by which it achieves the semantic effect to the receiver to motivate him to do good action, correct wrong action defend an oppressed person and so on. The image may have a large number of shifts to comprehend the meaning, and it may have two or three shifts according to the Divine purpose.          

       The research had studied some of the Qura`nic samples that include shift, focusing on the order structure of these image to conclude its textual value and its hidden and clear semantic movement.
