Abstract

An economic feasibility study for a project to establish a pilot field for the production of local table eggs in Najaf Governorate While the criteria for commercial profitability, the results showed that all criteria refer to the feasibility of the project from the point of view of commercial profitability and that the results are positive, as the recovery period for the investment cost is appropriate, as it reached approximately (

(1.14) years, which is a period of time considered acceptable by investment decision makers. Because the investor is able to recover his investment within the specified period.

As for the project’s net present value criterion at a discount coefficient (8%), the results showed that its value (15,347,962,728, 3) was positive.

It is a value that is very encouraging, as is the case with the profitability coefficient criterion. The results showed that it is greater than one (1.29 <1), which is a good and encouraging ratio. As for the accounting return, we have found that its value is (37.64%), meaning that the investor can achieve this percentage during the year. It is an encouraging percentage for the investor in this field. With regard to the project’s internal rate of return criterion, which amounted to (23.46%), the results appeared to be greater than the prevailing interest rate. As for the criterion of return on fixed capital, it was a good rate of (37.64%) annually, and that the project had achieved a liquidity ratio. Annual cash (2.26%)
