Role Of Organizational Virtuousness in Enhancing Organizational Sustainability A Survey Study in University of Kufa

Purpose: The research aims to identify the role of Organizational Virtuousness in promoting organizational sustainability, as the research focused on of the opinions of a sample of faculty members at the University of Kufa. Proceeding from the problem that the researched higher education institution suffers from weakness or lack of interest in the issue of organizational sustainability, the research problem has been formulated as follows: "The emergence and strengthening of organizational sustainability is directly affected by the level of Organizational Virtuousness in the research institution."
Design/Methodology: For the purpose of completing the requirements of the current research and in order to represent the target research community, the random sampling method was adopted, as (270) questionnaire forms were distributed directly to a sample of the teaching staff of the University of Kufa, and (240) valid forms were retrieved for statistical analysis at an average of Response (89%), and the collected data were analyzed using a set of statistical tests available in the two statistical programs SPSS V.26 and Smart PLS v.3.3.2.
Practical Results: The research results showed that there is a direct effect of Organizational Virtuousness on organizational sustainability in the institution under study.
The Importance Of The Research: the scarcity of previous studies (Arabic and foreign) that included the research variables (Organizational Virtuousness, and organizational sustainability) together in higher education institutions. Higher education in Iraq in general because this sector is of great importance to society, the environment and the economy, and the University of Kufa in particular.
