The reality of palm cultivation in Iraq for the period 2010-2020 (Analytical study)

Abstract

Poples are proud of the elements of their progress in various fields by investing what they have been granted and bestowed upon them by God Almighty , the Almighty from the bounties above the earth in order to meet the needs of its societies , and Iraq is a country of blessing and bounties from God upon him with abundant goodness, and palm trees are part of thes goodness but the reason is the compelling internal and external circumstances that Iraq experienced, which made it retreat after it was at the forefront of the countries producing and exporting dates to all parts of the world. Through this study , we identify the reasons for the decline in palm cultivation and date production and the appropriate treatments for it palms are of great importance among agricultural yields , and dates are an important element in food safety and one of the elements his internal and external trade with neighboring and international countries and he reaped great profits from them and contributed to helping the Iraqi people from the dangers that the last of which was the siege imposed on them from abroad
