Abstract

The current study sought to determine the nature of the correlation and impact between entrepreneurial agility and strategic positioning in a sample of general trade companies in Dohuk Governorate. This study was conducted based on deductive logic; To achieve its goal, three main hypotheses were formulated, stating that there is a significant correlation between entrepreneurial agility and strategic positioning. There is a significant impact of the dimensions of entrepreneurial agility on strategic positioning. There are significant differences among the surveyed companies regarding the variables of the study depending on the personal characteristics of the individuals studied. To test the validity of the hypotheses, a questionnaire was prepared and distributed to a random sample of managers in general trade companies in Dohuk Governorate. (167) valid questionnaires were obtained for analysis, which were analyzed through a set of statistical methods based on (SPSS V26) program. The study reached a set of conclusions, including that entrepreneurial agility in the companies studied contributes, through its three dimensions (radical innovation, preventive measures, and proactive) to achieving strategic positioning through the adoption of four strategies: differentiation, cost leadership, perceived quality, and business diversification. The study also concluded with a set of recommendations, including the need for managers in the surveyed companies to enhance the dimensions of entrepreneurial agility in them, and not to be satisfied with the minimum benefit, but rather to make the maximum benefit from what these dimensions offer because this will not only help them in strengthening their strategic positioning, but also in several Other aspects include constantly pioneering behavior, creating new and unique opportunities, and achieving outstanding entrepreneurial performance.
