Abstract

Iraq is one of the countries that possesses natural gas reserves, most of which is associated with associated gas, as the associated gas is about 70%, and it was and still is not able to use this promising fuel in an optimal economic manner, as a lot of it is burned now, but the attention paid by the Ministry of Oil in  Reducing this waste has begun to bear fruit, but it is in its initial stages, and it is expected that Iraq will enter the global natural gas market in the foreseeable future.  The revenues it generates for the economy by providing hard currency for the state budget, providing the necessary fuel for the industrial sector, especially petrochemicals, fertilizers, iron and steel, and providing job opportunities for the workforce
