The role of the circular economy in applying green entire value chain costing technique

The research aims to promote sustainable thinking in all activities of the green entire value chain, analyzing them and focusing on reducing resource consumption, reducing harmful emissions, promoting recycling and use to achieve sustainable production, in addition to explaining the role of the green value chain in achieving cost savings and moving to green jobs in light of the application of economic principles. The paper aims to achieve the goal of the research, the case study approach was relied upon in the applied aspect, based on a set of means, including collecting financial and non-financial financials for the year 2022 and personal interviews with experts and specialists. The General Company for Battery Manufacturing - Babylon Laboratory 1 was chosen as a sample for research into tracking the activities of the total green value chain starting from From research, development, design and purchasing activity to marketing and recycling for production procedures.
The study reached a set of conclusions, the most important is the use of the green value chain in the General Battery Manufacturing Company - Babylon (1) contributes to reduce costs and increase production quantities. Also low-cost recycling of spent batteries is to reach competitive prices compared to the prices of competing products . It reaches sustainable production in the factory. Babylon 1 for dry batteries
