Abstract

The current study aimed mainly to test the extent of the impact of tourism guidance in developing cultural tourism, by searching for the knowledge gap and trying as much as possible to reduce or bridge it to explain the nature of the relationship between the variables, as tourism guidance was adopted in the workplace by removing it as an independent variable, and tourism culture by removing it as a variable. In this destination, tourism guidance is one of the concepts that has begun to deepen in the tourism industry, due to the increasing interest by tourist destinations in this profession and considering it essential for enlightening the tourist and deepening his knowledge of the place he is visiting, in addition to realizing that it is necessary to note the extent of its relationship to forming the tourist’s mental image of the destination. tourism and the local population present in this destination, and on this basis, cultural tourism has been constantly identified in tourism work as one of the most important sectors of global tourism. According to the World Tourism Organization, cultural tourism is: a type of tourism activity in which the visitor's primary motivation is to learn, discover, experience and consume tangible and intangible cultural attractions/products at a tourist destination. These monuments/products relate to a range of physical, intellectual, spiritual and emotional attributes characteristic of a society including arts, architecture, historical and cultural heritage, culinary heritage, literature, music, creative industry endeavors and everyday life.
