Abstract

In recent years, interest in financial inclusion has increased by providing advanced banking services via the Internet or mobile phones, in addition to delivering banking services to the largest possible number of segments of society, especially those with limited income. This research aims to demonstrate the importance of financial inclusion as it determines the Poverty, This research relied on a statistical population represented by the Iraqi banking sector for the period (2018-2022) as it gives an impression of the reality and challenges facing financial inclusion. The research also relied on the analytical aspect of the dimensions and indicators of financial inclusion to judge them, so a set of conclusions were reached, the most important of which is: the decline in levels of the dimensions of financial inclusion in Iraq despite the presence of an increase in the aggregate index of financial inclusion. Therefore, the research concluded that the monetary authority, as the entity responsible for diversifying opportunities to increase financial inclusion, must carefully follow up on what it has planned within the treatments it has prepared for this.
