Abstract

The research aims to demonstrate the role of the sustainable balanced scorecard in improving the strategic performance of banks. The importance of the research is highlighted in providing a framework for applying the balanced scorecard. The Bank of Baghdad was selected as a sample for the research for the period 2019 and 2020. A set of indicators and measures were used for the financial dimension, customer satisfaction, learning and growth, environmental and societal methods, and multiple. The most important conclusions were reached. The study showed that the implementation of the sustainable balanced scorecard by the Bank of Baghdad led to improving the effectiveness of strategic performance by integrating financial and non-financial aspects into the evaluation process.
