Abstract

This research aims to enhance the strategic vision for the transition towards reducing harmful emissions by adopting the data of the circular carbon economy promoted by ministers in the G20 leaders as a framework for systems to achieve the ambitions of the Paris Agreement of 2015 in addition to its four elements of reduction, reuse, recycling and removal by enhancing recycling to achieve sustainable production in order to achieve cost savings in light of adopting the application of the principles of the circular economy and in the context of the concept of the circular economy and sustainable development, which are modern concepts within the applied sciences, where Iraq needs a unified will and scientific management to start sustainable development and make it successful, as the Iraqi economy began to achieve some goals, but with simple efforts. The study recommended getting rid of the rentier economy and activating the role of other economic sectors, as the severe depletion of natural resources and pollutants resulting from the emission of greenhouse gases that were the cause of the increase in the carbon percentage as a result of traditional development supported by the linear economy.
