Abstract

 The global interest in the issue of renewable energies has increased in recent decades in many countries of the world as it represents one of the most important main sources of global energy, as well as clean and non-polluting energy for the environment, which gives it great importance in achieving sustainable development, due to the repercussions of traditional energy, whether in terms of depletion or the resulting harmful pollutants to the environment and human health, so the research aims to identify the reality of renewable energy sources and their capabilities in the Arab countries. As well as knowing the energy prospects through the study of demand and supply for traditional and renewable energy sources in the Arab countries, while the research problem lies in knowing what is the reality and prospects of renewable energy in the Arab world and the extent of benefit from it, and it has been concluded that there is a global trend to make renewable energy sources complementary energy to fossil fuels, as for the most important recommendations that have been reached, it is necessary to increase investments in the field of renewable energy in order to develop and benefit from it being It represents a guarantee of security of supply and a sustainable balance
