Abstract

This research aims to examine the impact of strategic alignment (communication, partnership, governance, skills) on organizational creativity in its dimensions (originality, fluency, risk-taking, and sensitivity to problems) at the Wasit Thermal Power Plant. The research problem is represented by the weakness of strategies within the plant, which may hinder its innovative capabilities. The researcher used a descriptive-analytical methodology, with the research sample including 110 individuals from various administrative and technical levels. The importance of the research lies in its ability to provide practical advice for improving strategic alignment and encouraging creativity, in addition to its contribution to related studies. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews and then analyzed using SPSS using descriptive statistics, correlation coefficients, and regression analysis. The results indicated a strong and statistically significant correlation (r = 0.885) between strategic alignment and organizational creativity, with a more pronounced effect on the aspects of governance and fluency. The researcher recommended strengthening partnerships, developing communication mechanisms, investing in skills development, and adopting an environment that encourages risk-taking and innovation.
