Abstract

 The Importance of this study lies in highlighting the role of the Al-Qadisiyah 2 Poultry Project in supporting food security and meeting citizens’ needs for table eggs and white meat ,The study aims to assess the project's contribution to satisfying local demand for poultry products and its role in achieving self-sufficiency. The research problem centers around the project's limited effectiveness in meeting the growing demand for protein-based food products, The study hypothesizes that the project holds several opportunities to generate positive outcomes in supplying the local market with high-quality products. The findings indicate that the project makes a considerable contribution to the local market by providing essential products within its scope of activity. Moreover, it possesses significant potential and opportunities that have not been fully utilized by project administrators during the study period, The study recommends that governmental support be directed toward enhancing this vital sector in order to achieve self-sufficiency, The study recommends targeted governmental support to optimize the project's performance and strengthen this critical sector, with the overarching aim of achieving national self-sufficiency in poultry production
