Abstract

The current study aims to examine the relationship and impact between strategic foresight and sustainable innovation performance, as perceived by managers in various manufacturing organizations that produce construction materials in Duhok Governorate. Employing a deductive research approach, the study involved the development and distribution of a questionnaire to a randomly selected sample of managers within the targeted organizations. A total of 302 valid questionnaires were collected for analysis. The findings indicate a significant and noticeable correlation between strategic foresight and sustainable innovation performance. Based on these results, the study proposes several recommendations, emphasizing the importance of managers in manufacturing organizations adopting a proactive leadership role. This leadership should be focused on fostering a culture of strategic foresight and sustainable development within their organizations. Such an approach aims to stimulate future-oriented thinking among employees, promote industrial innovation, facilitate early planning for potential changes, and prepare organizations for an uncertain future.
