The global oil sector has witnessed significant developments since the beginning of the current century, marked by the growing role of artificial intelligence in the oil industry at all levels, from exploration and drilling, drilling operations, oil extraction, transportation, refining, marketing, and downstream industries, and subsequently in global and local oil markets. Its role is not limited to the oil sector, which is specific to each country, but rather encompasses the entire oil sector and global oil markets. This research aims to analyze the motivations and justifications for the development of this technology in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its impact on the Saudi oil sector, and its role in the international market, focusing on the economic and strategic dimensions of these developments. The research also addresses the growing role of artificial intelligence applications in the oil sector, particularly the oil extraction sector, and its impact on price determination, as well as its implications for market stability and the future of the Saudi economy. The research relies on a descriptive and analytical approach supported by statistical data and international reports. It concludes that artificial intelligence applications have become a crucial element in the dynamics of oil industry development, but they require further regulation, scientific advancement, and investment in scientific research to ensure their comprehensive efficiency.Downloads
