Abstract

    This study shed the light on the so called Behavioral Finance which is one of the modern financing theories.it dealt with the most important behavioral factors that determine the behavior of the investor and the performance of the Iraq Stock Exchange. It aimed to diagnose the most important factors that determine the behavior of the investor in the financial market , which are: (Overconfidence, avoid loss, mental calculations, aversion to regret, anchoring, availability or availability, representation or conservation, and herd behavior). In addition to the personal identifiers such as (gender, age, years of experience, education) these points were studied to know their effects on the investors' behaviors through questioners given to a sample of investors in the Iraq stock exchange. ninety questionnaire distributed to a sample of investors in the Iraq stock exchange and by (90) forms for the duration may 2rd to July 31th.

 The study reached many conclusions and recommendations that the investor can benefit from when investing his money. its impact on the financial markets as well as in determining the behavior of investors and its clear impact on investment decisions, the most important of which is that human behavior in general and investment behavior in particular have a very important influence and a major and fundamental role in the investment decision-making process. The movement and prices of stock are influenced by such factors as collective behavior - fear of remorse - avoidance of loss - and other behavioral factors, and that increased demand for stocks affects the performance of the financial market. The research used a set of statistical analyzes and tests using Spss and Excel programs.
