This research tackles the biography of the historian Dr. Abdullah Al-Fayyad (1917-1984). He is one of a distinctive example for the early pioneers of historians and academic scientists, and those who had a role in the writing and teaching of history, who deserve to study as one of the personalities that have contributed effectively in providing valuable historical studies in the fields of (Islamic and modern history).
The study was divided into two topics, the first one entitled (Dr. Abdullah Al-Fayyad his biography and study), covering the scientific and professional biography of Fayyad from birth until his death. The second topic, entitled (historical writings and book (the history of education at the Imamiah and predecessors of Shia between the covenants of Sadiq and Tusi) as a model) has been devoted to define his printed works and his researches in Islamic and modern history, highlighting his book (History of Education at the Imamate and their Shia predecessors between the Sadiq and Tusi era), which is considered one of the most important products of Fayyad in the field of Islamic history, providing a comprehensive information on the achievements Intellectuals of the infallible Imams, including Imam Al-Baqir and Sadiq and adopted the academic scientific method based on criticism, analysis and conclusion, and to study the accidents and verify their validity.
