Form and content as a manifestation of the Marxist theory of beauty In modern Western literary criticism

The duality of form and content is one of the most prominent dualities that appeared to us in modern Western literary criticism during socialist realism, and what was reflected from it in terms of a Marxist critical vision. This does not mean that it is a newly emerging issue, but rather it is one of the most prominent old critical dualities. However, the social, political, and historical circumstances paved the way for it to appear clearly in the Marxist era. This study came to stand on the statement of the aesthetic importance of this duality according to the aesthetic vision of Marxist critics, and for this reason the study was held with an introduction in which the researcher presented the concepts of form and content, and the dialectical relationship between this duality as an aspect of the aesthetic vision of Marxist critics. Then the first section came to address the relationship of beauty to this duality among ancient critics and philosophers, as well as among Marxist theorists, while the second section showed the Marxist critics' aesthetic vision of this duality, and then the study ended with a set of results.
