Foundations of Concept Building Between Design and Art Education AComparative Study

The study aimed to identify the foundations of concept building in forming the idea for the work of students of the Art Education Department in the subject of design and pictorial construction. the research problem was summarized by asking: What are the foundations of concept building between design and art education? . The research was limited to the Art Education Department in the College of Education for the fourth stage of morning study for the academic year (2020-2021). The second semester included the foundations of concept building. and the characteristics it contains n the third chapter, the research community discussed the works of the students of the third stage of the Department of Art Education at the College of Education, University of Kufa, and the study sample was selected, which was limited to (10) works, 5 of which were drawing and 5 were design, according to the descriptive approach.
In the fourth chapter, the researchers reached a set of results, The idea carried in the mind of the painter and designer revolves around multiple topics, such as religious, heritage, social, or natural landscape.
