This research deals with the morphometric changes of the river islands in the Euphrates River, which extends from the south of Al- Kifl at the beginning (the branching of the Shatt Al-Kufa stream) to the north of Al-Shinafiyah for the period (2009-2023), this phenomenon is considered to be one of the geomorphological phenomena resulting from the river sedimentation processes.
