The role of cleaner production Technique in achieving the dimensions of sustainable competitive advantage / applied study

Abstract

The research aims to study and analyze the philosophy behind the cleaner production Technique and its reflection in achieving the dimensions of sustainable competitive advantage through application in the Kufa Cement Factory of the Iraqi Ministry of Industry.

After studying the reality of the Kufa Cement Factory and applying the cleaner production technique based on data obtained through field visits and personal interviews with officials and workers, as well as data extracted from the records of the factory, the research sample, the research reached several conclusions, the most important of which are: that the adoption of traditional production systems does not provide an opportunity for units The economic system is to take advantage of the errors and defects that occur in the industrial process, because these systems were designed mainly under conditions that differ from those witnessed by the contemporary business environment. The most important recommendations were: The management of the economic unit should use the process of strategic thinking as an important tool in sustaining the competitive advantage because it is distinguished by strong insight, environmental sensing, the ability to analyze and interpret information, and comprehensive knowledge of the various aspects of the economic unit and the requirements of its activities.
