Education is an effective tool affecting the development of human resources, preparing skills, refining expertise, and preparing the workforce that truly affects the growth of the economy. It is also considered one of the most important tools for developing individuals’ awareness of what is going on around them and what is required of them. This study aims to identify the reality of the spatial distribution of schools. Intermediate education in the city of Najaf and revealing the spatial variation in the educational level of middle school students on the basis of school and gender. The research dealt with middle education in the city of Najaf in many stages, which naturally represent the morphological stages that the city’s schools went through. The study also concluded with a reconsideration of the distribution of middle schools.
For boys and girls, to include neighborhoods that are characterized by large population sizes, so that they can provide their services to male and female students in these neighborhoods, and open more middle schools so that the number of classrooms in them is sufficient for the number of students without causing crowding of students within the classroom, and attention should be given to the school building and the services provided by it, such as (facilities). Sanitation, water, electricity) as attention must be paid to the school building so that it is a factor of attraction for the student and not a factor of repulsion.
